Senior Business Development Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will drive revenue growth while leading, training, and managing the business development team end-to-end:
  • •Sales Ownership & Strategy: Drive individual and team sales performance across US/Canada markets, ensuring consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly targets.
  • •Cold Calling & Prospecting: Oversee outbound calling strategies; guide the team to maintain 60–80 outbound calls per day per rep while personally engaging in high-value prospecting.
  • •Pitching & Presentations: Deliver and standardize impactful product pitches (websites, CRM, marketing services) and train the team on value-based selling.
  • •Demo Management: Supervise scheduling, conducting, and closing of demos; lead complex demos and assist the team in deal closures.
  • •Lead Conversion: Drive high lead-to-client conversion rates; ensure minimum monthly sign-up targets are met at both individual and team levels.
  • •Client Retention: Build and manage key client relationships, drive upsell/cross-sell initiatives, and ensure renewals and long-term retention.
  • •Team Management & Training: Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, and manage a team of Business Development Managers; conduct regular coaching, call reviews, and performance feedback sessions.
  • •Performance Tracking: Set KPIs, monitor daily activities (calls, demos, conversions), and implement corrective actions to improve team performance.
  • •CRM Management: Ensure accurate CRM usage, pipeline hygiene, activity tracking, and consistent follow-ups across the team.
  • •Market Insights: Gather customer objections, competitor intelligence, and market trends; share insights with leadership to improve sales strategies and product offerings.

Requirements:

  • We’re looking for a sales leader and hunter who thrives on targets and knows how to build and scale winning teams.
  • •Experience: 4 - 6+ years in outbound sales / business development for US/Canada clients, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead or managerial role (SaaS or Real Estate experience preferred).
  • •Skills: Strong expertise in cold calling, product pitching, negotiation, deal closure, and sales coaching.
  • •Language Proficiency:
  • English – Mandatory (excellent spoken & written communication).
  • Knowledge of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, or other regional languages is a plus.
  • •Personality: Highly driven, persuasive, energetic leader with strong influencing and decision-making abilities.
  • •Performance: Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding individual and team sales targets.
  • •Tech-Savvy: Hands-on experience with CRM tools, lead management systems, reporting dashboards, and virtual demo platforms (Zoom/Meet).
  • •Flexibility: Willingness to work night shifts aligned with North American time zones.
